At Gen Youth
Our desire is to provide a relaxed and safe environment to have fun, build friendships, worship, and give you an opportunity to see what it means to learn about God, explore your faith, and pursue the purpose He has for your life. We meet on Sundays from 12 pm until 2 pm for Bible Study, Worship & Prayer. We also do a Bible Study on Tuesdays at 6 pm at Jay Peters’ home. In the Fall we will resume our Wednesday Youth Service as well. Looking forward to seeing you come out!
Our Values
In our day and age, there are many battles we as young people face day to day. We believe that when we look towards God in every situation, His love and grace are exactly what we need in a lost and broken world. We seek to turn towards God and allow Him to cause a movement in our lives. We believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and we are redeemed through His resurrection.
As we are redeemed through Christ and the grace of God, we seek to chase after the purpose God has called us to, and in order to do this we must look towards the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the truth of the word of God as our guide.
God love’s each of us so much and desires to have a relationship with us. At Gen Youth we aim to pursue God in this relationship through Prayer, Worship, and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. As we pursue this, we also desire to bring this to those around us.
What to Expect
-Atmosphere
We desire to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where students can connect with one another, explore their faith, and share as we experience life together.
-Community focused, Outreach driven
Not only do we desire to encourage and build each other up in our Gen Youth family, but we also hope to reach out to those around us in our homes, schools, and communities, as Jesus has called us to go out into all nations, including our own backyards.
-Intentional
Through our Worship, Message, and Small Groups, we set out to be intentional about pursuing our relationship with God and allowing His Spirit to work in and through our lives.
