ABOUT OUR KIDS MINISTRY

At CHC, we know that our kids are the next generation of Christ-followers. Our children’s ministry is designed to be a fun, interactive and safe environment where kids can learn about Jesus and apply the gospel in a way that is relevant to their development. (Nursery – 5th Grade)

Event Details:

Kids are welcome beginning at 9:50am on Sunday mornings for Nursery and Pre-School Church. Kids Church is welcome beginning at 10:00am. They are always welcome to join in the first part of our Sunday worship where we will then show a slide indicating the children are dismissed to kids church.

SUNDAY MORNING

Every Sunday, CHC Kids provides a place for children to explore their relationship with God during regular church services.

Nursery

0 through 2yrs old.

Christian Hills Church welcomes you and your baby to our nursery. Your child is special to us. It is our desire to minister to your child’s spiritual, physical and emotional needs. The nursery is for our little ones 0-2 years old. I like to call them our “soldiers in training” because at these beginning stages of life they are developing personalities, motor skills and even a spiritual relationship with God. This is why we surround them with a safe, clean and loving environment so they may learn just how much God loves them. The nursery is available Sunday mornings at 9:45am for our regular church service and Wednesday evening at 6:20 pm for our midweek service.

PRE-SCHOOL CHURCH

3yrs (potty trained) through 5yrs.

We use the Wonderink Curriculum and each weekly lesson is enriched with one of our four core values. This curriculum gives kids space to fully discover their place in God’s Big Story and results in an understanding of how their lives can tell the world of His wonder. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these four basic truths.

KIDS CHURCH

Kindergarten through 5th grade.

We use the Wonderink Curriculum as well and each weekly lesson is enriched with one of our four core values. We teach the kids to be rooted in the biblical truth that our identity is found in God’s Big Story—where Jesus is Lord and the Holy Spirit is present—Wonder Ink makes room for the big (and sometimes hard) questions kids have while leaving no doubt about who God is or who we are in Him. We want them to learn and believe these four basic truths.
